Still waiting.....

Sigh... The step that we thought would be the shortest (usually takes 1 week or so) is now taking longer and longer each passing day.  Our dossier (the official adoption paperword) is somewhere in the bowels of the Chinese Childrens Welfare and Advocacy Agency (CCWAA) awaiting someone (anyone really) to review it and officially enter us into their computer so we can be "logged in" to their system and acknowledged as a prospective adoptive family.  As of now, (14 days later but who's counting) we continue to hear the same thing...silence.  Other people who are also adopting and were DTC after us have already been logged in.  We're happy for them (genuinely) but you know the rest.  So, what's a girl to do but wait - and check email constantly, and be a bit cranky (sorry Honey), and finally surrender in prayer.  Lord, I guess I do still need those lessons on waiting and being patient.  Just please keep little Emma as healthy and as safe as possible because she is waiting too.  I'm so thankful that You are in control and we trust in Your timing... In Jesus' name, Amen.
